Animals & Insects

This is a collection of my favorite photos shot throughout the years. Animals and insects are typically harder for me to shoot than my other categories.

First, I have to find them to begin with. It can be challenging to find unique wildlife around a city. Road trips become more and more frequent.

Second, I'm often chasing them around, hoping they stay still long enough to get a good composition before they leave. Even so, when you snap that satisfying photo, it makes the adventure of finding them much more fun.

I hope these photos will inspire you to practice your own macro photography.
