Welcome, everyone, to another episode of Macro Photography --- where I take you with me to discover and capture small, beautiful photos that most people would walk past without a thought. At the end of this video, don't forget to cast your vote for the shot you like most from today's adventure. I'm your host Jay, and let's get started...

Butterflies. An excellent addition to your macro photography portfolio. Today, we are shooting photos at a butterfly garden. Here's some video of the environment we are in. Butterflies are one of the best subjects to practice photography with. It's difficult to make a butterfly look bad. That's great news for a novice photographer. The best advice I can give you is to try and keep the butterfly eyes in focus. We are shooting in manual mode set with raw photos only. We are using a Canon 80D camera with a 100mm f/2.8 L macro lens. Alright, let's go explore this garden. Start the music...

Well there you have it. It was hard to decide which were my favorite photos from this adventure. Out of the 344 photos I shot, I have narrowed it down to 3 photos for you to vote on. But first, let's go into Lightroom to do some photo processing. We'll speed this up and see the finished photo results for voting.

Okay, we are done. Let's take a look. This guy is one of my favorites. He was really tiny and I liked the blue spots on him along with his horn. I liked this one more so because of the vine like flower and how I framed it. And lastly, the patterns and bright yellow on the wings of this one was what won me over for this photo.

Alright, there you have it, here are my 3 favorite photos from this adventure --- and I want to hear from you. Which one do you like most? Cast your vote by leaving a comment below, or clicking the poll to let me know. I'm going to give you my favorite pick out of these three as a free download, so you can do whatever you want with the photo. Enjoy, guys, and don't forget to like and subscribe to my channel for upcoming macro photo adventures.
