Welcome, everyone, to the fourth episode of Macro Photography --- where I take you with me to discover and capture small, beautiful photos that most people would walk past without a thought. At the end of this video, don't forget to cast your vote for the shot you like most from today's adventure. I'm your host Jay, and let's get started...
And today, we are at a car show! This car show has a variety of cars to choose from. It's mostly demoing the new 2017 cars but lucky for us there are also exotic cars, motorcycles, and old style hot rods to practice some macro photography with. A car show is a great place to shoot photos of different cars. You can take your time to find the right angle you want. I'm going to be focusing mostly on the details of the car instead of just taking photos of the overall car. Details such as the headlights, the hood, the wheels, the curves and sharp angles of the car frame. Alright, let's see what kind of fun we can do here. Start the music...
Alright, we had some nice cars to photograph. Now let's start going through the photos. Up on my screen I've created my folder structure. We'll speed this up and start picking out my favorite photos for you to vote on.
Okay, we are done. I took 463 macro photos and have narrowed it down to 42 macro photos that I liked. So let's take a look. I believe this one was the new MX-5 headlight. I liked the sharp angles on this Lamborghini. Here's a different view of the Lamborghini. I liked the colors and headlight on this Porsche. And here is the firebird hood. The wing of the firebird. I liked the hood of this car. Here is the front of a motorcycle. This is the back wheel of a Polaris Slingshot three wheel motorcycle. This backend of a hotrod would make a good poster. Here's the side front. And here is headlight view. And one more of the flames. This is a nice old ford photo that would look good hanging in a garage. Here's a different color ford. I didn't notice at the time I took this but the hood is popped up. I thought the big bubble headlights looked interesting with this car. A better perspective of the firebird with other cars in the background. Some more headlights. Again with the sharp angle's of the Lamborghini. Back to a side view of the Porsche. Here I was trying to get some other cars in the background for other colors. This is a corvette. And this is the side of one of the motorcycles. And the last photo of the motorcycle.
Alright, there you have it, here are my 3 favorite photos from this adventure --- and I want to hear from you. Which one do you like most?
