Welcome, everyone, to another episode of Macro Photography --- where I take you with me to discover and capture small, beautiful photos that most people would walk past without a thought. At the end of this video, don't forget to cast your vote for the shot you like most from today's adventure. I'm your host Jay, and let's get started...

Today, we are going to the cemetery. A cemetery isn't normally someone's first thought when they think of practicing macro photography. But, a cemetery has lots to offer. Statue photos will be our main focus today. However, there are many other small photo opportunities we are sure to come across. Of course, you want to be respectful. Don't be a distraction by taking photos around other visitors. We are not moving anything around to get a better photo and we are not photographing any identifiable tombstones. In fact, with these photos, you probably wouldn't have known it was from a cemetery verses a random park with statues. What I like about this adventure is that every photo has a real story behind. All we can do is wonder what that story is. Start the music...

Alright, we found some nice statues and other small objects. I think I found a photo I want to use as my desktop wallpaper. Now, let's go into Lightroom to do some photo processing. We'll speed this up and see which photos I want you to vote on.

Okay, we are done. Let's take a look. This door was hanging from a tree. I like it because it looks somewhat dreaming and reminds me of peter pan for some reason. I like this duck because he's broken and it just looks like it would have an old story behind it. In fact, this photo is now my new wallpaper. And lastly, I liked this photo because of the dark crevasses and protruding stone which gives it a nice sense of depth.

Alright, there you have it, here are my 3 favorite photos from this adventure --- and I want to hear from you. Which one do you like most? Cast your vote by leaving a comment below, or clicking the poll to let me know. I'm going to give you my favorite pick out of these three as a free download, so you can do whatever you want with the photo. Enjoy, guys, and don't forget to like and subscribe to my channel for upcoming macro photo adventures.
